ICT Project.

Me and Hal Wilkinson are going to show a video that took a very long time to make. I went round to his house wednesday evening started at about five p.m. and finished at seven forty five p.m. We used first an original slide and then tried to trace a copy but with the drawings moving. This proved to be very difficult as we only managed to produce 14-15 slides. We also made much quicker stop motion with some plastic toys. This was a lot easier in the project we will show you both.

India

India is one of the world's biggest countries and now has the world's second largest population after China. They are also famous for it's long and historic culture dating back to 7000BC which also means it was the first civilization to have formed. It is also well-renowned for it's diverse food such as Tandoori Chicken. It although thought to be very hot in india up in the north there are many mountains and so the temperature drops to below freezing. it is one of my favorite places to go because of all the sights to see, my cousins live there and when I go there I play lots of cricket that could not normally play in England. In India the people are very friendly there are many strange cultures for example if you do not show respect to any persons older than you than you will be severely as it is thought they are wiser than you and so you should learn from. Overall India is a great place to go to except that in India it smells quite horrifically but apart from that it is really beautiful and is a great place to go to learn about another culture.

Just testing out my coding

I'm not that lazy.

Virender Sehwag Owns

Today Virender Sehwag, India's opening batsmen against the West indies managed to beat his fellow teammate's world record by scoring 219 in a one day international. He hit 25 fours which is the equivalent of a hundred runs. In addition to this he also hit 6 sixes making a overall runs from boundaries 136. This was a great feat that he accomplished. This wasn't the only record broken however. Also india achieved their highest score ever in a ODI of 418. The West Indies were not able to chase such a formidable total getting all out for 265. Also in the bowling department India's new bowler Rahul Sharma took 3 wickets on debut. After his amazing innings Sehwag said that he was pleased to broken his friends record. Sachin also said that he extremely happy for him and that he was glad it was a fellow Indian.

Martin Johnson

This could be seen by many England rugby fans as a devastating loss because of him retiring as manager but for me although it looks bad for him and he could be seen as a "sour loser" it is an opportunity for England to turn over a new leaf and start again with a new younger manager maybe who will bring England more luck in the next rugby world cup.

Matt Edgar's Article

One thing that really shocked me was that although all the new inventions such as the iPhone and the internet have been developed extremely quickly and has spread very fast, this has been the case for all new inventions in all ages. Such as the light bulb that was invented by Thomas Edison this spread very fast due to the enormity of the people that liked his idea. Also Matt Edgar says that in the 18th century trains would run taking post to and from all the major cities in a country twice a day.
He also says that whether we are playing the latest games such as Call of Duty or whether we are playing the earliest video games, we still have and require the same cognitive abilities in order to play both the games.
He is saying that the main difference between 18th century and now is the earth's population. Since the 18th century the population has increased by more than double therefore making it easier to make an invention such as the iPhone known by more people. Also connectivity with other countries on a worldwide scale has improved and so these ideas can spread much more easier than in the 18th century when the train had just been invented. For example every day worldwide a billion cans of Coca-Cola are drunk, which would never have been possible 100 years ago.

The Ipad and IPhone Game Call of Mini:Zombies

This is a fun game that involves the player to be a character and survive each days worth of zombies. Each day has a limited amount of zombies that you have to fend off with your weapons and very limited supply of ammo. There are many different weapons such as the infamous ak47 and the well renowned RPG. Also not only are the weapons interchangeable but so are the characters. There are around 12 characters that range from just an average guy to an advanced robot fighter from the future. You can also use characters such as Kuniochi (a very fast ninja) and Captain Drake. Weapons and characters cost tokens and so there is a way to earn it (or you can cheat by buying more tokens). If you need more tokens you play the pressure lab. The amount of zombies that you kill in the pressure lab relates to how many tokens you earn. The pressure lab never stops and so is a good way to earn lots of money. A negative factor about the game is that it doesn't yet have a multiplayer mode but I believe that this is coming. Overall a good game to play by yourself with good graphics and scary blood-curdling screams coming from the undead as you slay them.
